Each full-day seminar or workshop $198 incl GST, DVD, session notes, lunch and tea/coffee/fruit; 9:30am - 4:30pm
The three events listed here are designed to make the Human Givens ideas accessible to as many people as possible. The two-day Seminar/Workshop combination both introduces the HG ideas in detail and enables practitioners to apply them in specific therapeutic situations. We have found that attempting to apply the skills without understanding the concepts behind them is not successful. Storytelling for therapeutic change for example, takes on a whole new meaning when the function of the REM sleep phase and the role of metaphor (pre-thought; pre-language) is understood.
The Understanding Emotions Seminar is our response to community interest in emotional health in general. It takes the HG ideas and enables anyone to see where they can be applied in everyday situations - personal development, relationships, family, schooling, and generally building and maintaining emotional buoyancy.
